I have been pollinating my apricots for about 3 weeks now and I am really glad I kept them and the peaches and nectarines when I had to stop doing the veg plot, I have the trees in 50ltr tubs in the back greenhouse and with all that's going on I can see some of the warm climate fruits becoming scarce this summer as the politicos dither, so I am looking forward to my own fruit, with its zero miles and none of the sugars turning to starch during its transport, I am drooling already....

we have a hen pheasant that comes to the back door each morning, obviously cage reared, and if food gets scarce she will have to watch her step, with braised apricots, no , I think we have got too fond of her since she appeared mid nov, but she will be well fed and plump!!!!!
