Just let the branches touch the ground in late summer after fruiting. They produce new plants that can be moved to the new location for a fresh start.
If you try to move them at this time of year you will have to cut them back hard so that they do not try to produce fruit while they re-establish.
Easier answer: Leave where they are as I am unsure, and buy some Autumn raspberry canes for the area I was thinking of.
Not bothered about fruit from raspberries this year but may as well plant some and get them in. Stops me changing my mind. Although changing it for one that works may be a fair idea.
Big problem - where and how to get.
New post coming up.
