  • Cherry tree - is this bacteria

We planted several fruit trees 10 days ago. They have all taken well, barring the Sunburst cherry tree that develops sap/resin in various areas. I suspect this may be a bacterial reaction. There are two trees.

One has blossoms and leaves. The other is totally bare.

Should I remove the one with no leaves and can I give the one with leaves and blossoms a boost?

I’m still new to forum. Is there a way to add photos? I get asked to put in a URL.

I think the post limit is 10 before it allows you to add pics.

I'd leave things be for now and see how they look in a few weeks time. Don't forget to give the trees a can of water every week unless we get heavy rain, think of them as invalids for the first 6 months.

Seeing as they are newly planted, it may well be okay. Cherry trees often bleed sap in response to stress.
If it is still bleeding just as much next year, it may be more cause for concern, but for now I'd just concentrate on keeping them watered.
