Got the following email today and wondered if it is any use to anyone?....
I have had many requests on the subject of pruning so we are delighted to be able to offer a pruning day here at Blackmoor Hampshire. For any further information on the days please email Peter on the email address below
Pruning Demonstrations.
Courses demonstrating winter pruning of apples and pears on semi vigorous and dwarf rootstocks, including ‘knipboom’ (leg tree) upright cordons, will be held at Blackmoor Estate. This will cover newly planted and mature trees.
Venue: Blackmoor Estate
Blackmoor,
Liss, Hampshire, GU33 6BS.
Instuctor: Peter Barwick, Orchard Manager
Cost: £15 per person, payable on the day
Dates:Feb 16th, March 1st and 15th 2008, starting at 9.30am
