Raspberry suckers !

I grew rasps for first time this year,("All Gold" - Autumn variety)in a bed measuring 11ft x 20" and put in 5 canes.
I now have suckers coming up ,both inside and out side the bed.
If I wanted to propagate from these, when digging them up,how deep should I go,and what time of year do I do it?

Also, I thought "All Gold" are pretty tasteless, and not only late to produce, but actually still producing flowers in November ! Crazy or what [SIZE="4"]!

Fruit production this late may be something to do with the crazy weather. If you think Allgold are tasteless then do you really want to propagate new plants? If you do, then have a little dig around where the suckers are coming up and expose the roots. Cut through the stem below ground so that you have a new cane with roots and transplant.

Is it ture that Allgold are tasteless ? I hope not I just ordered some !
