  • Blueberry - Building Up Pot Size?

As some of us are getting the cheap fruit bushes (namely blueberry, currants etc) from the high street stores, does the size of pot matters in terms of the growth rate of the plants.

As most of us have found that these plants are often very small so are you actually better off planting them in pot size that is in proportion to the plant size? I myself have used as big pot as I possibly can but now thinking about it, I wonder if I would have been better off going for smaller one that may encourage them to grow even faster ? Does it work this way?

Not sure about blueberries in particular but you're usually best potting up gradually.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
