To stake or not to stake....

Just one quick question.. do I need to stake blueberries? or will they support their own weight?

I haven't used stakes with mine. But they are only a couple of years old. Depends how windy your site is I guess. I have planted mine near the redcurrant bushes and they seem to keep their shape well.

I have never had to stake blueberries and we have a very exposed, windy site. They usually grow fairly slowly and make strong, sturdy bushes in the process.
