Hi, I'm busy here now I've found this site!
Further to post about compost, I volunteer at a local farm trust which has around 50 fruit trees. I have a map and am going to catalogue and assess them this weekend. However, although I have the RHS Pruning guide to hand (it's heavy!), I'm very reluctant to take any action without an expert to hand. We can't afford to pay anyone but really need someone to at least set us on the right road and give an initial assessment (I can send photos & map with layout, prevalent winds, soil, etc). Is there either someone prepared to spend some time just giving online guidance, or someone in the Greenwich/Kent border area who would be interested in visiting and taking a look?
