raspberry pruning

Do I need to cut my raspberries back to ground level, they are 2 years old and quite dense.

It depends on whether they are autumn fruiting or summer fruiting, both need pruning but depending on which type they are depends on what you prune, when you prune and how brutal you are?

My Autumn bliss require pruning to ground level in about Jan-Feb as they produce fruit on the new canes.

Raspberry leo

Summer fruiting - prune canes that have just fruited. Autumn fruiting - you cut all canes down.
Anyone know how you prune late summer fruiters, like Leo ?

i am a complete novice at this but i cut some autumn type last year on a dissused lottie at the base and planted them in mine. mine are doing very well and the ones i pruned have grown back nicly as well

I have some Leo rasps - late summer fruiting - when and how do I prune them??

For Leo: Prune wood that has fruited in the summer. Leave new canes.

Received my canes last night. Three say A.Bliss on the label, the others say "trio". All of the "canes" are about 6-8 inches long.

Planted them in pots for the time being, until I can get them in the ground.
