  • Anyone tried Lignonberry?

    Hi Folks!
ages ago I tried some Lignonberry jelly with some Swedish meatballs and it was lovely, so decided to finally treat myself to a bush. Has anyone else grown one and are they any good?
    many thanks

You probably already know, but they need ericaceous compost and they like moist soil with decent drainage - they are ideal ground cover plants under blueberries. I haven't grown any before but swaine (forum member and fruit expert!) sent me some cutting to try this year.

Presumably that is blueberries in the ground rather than in containers.

Could be either I guess, depending on the size of the container? mine are in the ground as my ground is quite acidic anyway, and I made a corner for them and incorparated more ericaceous compost.
