Can anyone give me advice , I'm new to all this and i planned to grow stuff on my allotment using the lunar calender and i was planning to plant my fruit trees on wednesday afternoon but i've just read were expecting wintery windy weather so if i plant them, will this affect them?

As long as you stake them properly they should be OK. We put an apple-tree in last week just before the gales and it's fine. If they've been grown in a very sheltered place in pots though and your lottie is exposed I might be tempted to wait until the next fruit day.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Yes, it would seem a good time, but you have to work with the weather and if it is too miserable/windy then [not knowing where you are based], only you know how horrible it is on the day.
Apparently you will feel the full forces of spring urging forward on Thursday - so perhaps get the gardening done on weds and hope for the best!
I've got sunny intervals on weds and rain on thurs forecast.

thanks for your advice i didn't get time to plant them i went to my son's easter service at dee banks in chester , but i will plant them tomorrow its another fruit day and hopefully the weather wont be too bad and spring is definetly in the air , thanks again
