Shade tolerant, low planting - does it have to look like grass?
Lady's Mantle, hardy geraniums, bulbs (cyclamen, crocus, anemones), primulas/polyanthus
How about a grass seed that is shade tolerant? -
no it doesnt i just want it to surpress the weeds and to look nice could use woodbark but not very nice on the eye it must be cheap as they are on my allotmentComment

You don't want to plant anything that will compete with your fruit for food and water. Grass would.
