Tesco fruit trees

I gnipped in today for some sour cream and there was a great load of fruit trees, good quality looking trees too. I saw a few apple and pear varieties and "stella" cherry.

All at £6.99

No Shirley, we have planted 30 in the last 2 years, were all fruited up now.

Try Morrison's too - good few varieties of apple, plum, apricot etc at £4.99 each (I seccumbed and now have a cherry tree impulse buy - whoops)

Oh no will have to go shopping with my eyes closed. I would love a pear and cherry tree but have no where to put them. I have two patio apple trees.

i went to buy one apple tree to go with the one i got on saturday ended up buying 2 apple, one cherry, i soooooooooooo would love a peach and a blueberry i stood for ages looking at them

So true, so true, I end up telling fibs on how much things cost..........lol......sometimes you cannot help yourself........I treated myself last year to a BRAND new shed lol..........

i got a pear and a cherry tree planted this year to go with my apple tree...not from a supermarket tho

I don't know if they have them still but i went to Lidl with my mum 1 or 2 weeks ago and i got some healthy looking fruit bushes. I got one bluberry one red currant and one white currant

Seriously, I don't know what sort of Tesco you'd have to be to sell fruit bushes. My nearest town has a 24 hour Tesco superstore but they ain't selling them. I never got the chance to find out if my local Aldi and Lidl are selling these reported fruit bushes (none last time) so I think I must have a lazy git population from that town .

They have them in my Tesco too. It's a Tesco Extra, the huge ones that sell big stuff too like washing machines - don't know if that makes a difference? They've had them since last week. They look very healthy and I pondered for ages, but I just haven't got room at the moment (didn't consider fruit trees in my plan ).

my lodger has seen what i have been doing i told him what ive spent and he was like, "be bliming cheaper just to buy the stuff" " sigh " he just doesnt get it, the joy, the sunshine watching these little things grow........... the back ache, the cold, the rain, .....hang on why am i doing this again.
