I was just reading an article in the dec issue of gyo, would like to have a go at growing a pomegranate. However, like a lot of good ideas, I can't seem to find a supplier of dwarf pomegranates to grow in a pot. If any of the editors of GYO read this it would be a very good idea to add suppliers of plants discussed in the article.

Good idea. I was eating a pomegranate and after reading GYO i decided to pop some seeds in a pot. Dont know if anything will happen but its worth a go.

You can always grow them as a Bonsai Nice red flowers if my fading memory serves me.

Indeed.
Punica granatum, is a very popular bonsai subject. You could probably get a two year old tree from the garden centre for �10 or less, take it out of the bonsai pot and put it in a regular pot.
