I've a plum tree on my allotment plot, that for the last 2 years has given me and my neighbors an abundant supply of fruit. This year looks to be an even better crop but I'm concern for the safety of some of the branches due to the amount of fruit on them. Can anyone advice on the best way, and time to prune, reduce the amount, of plum trees?
