Blackcurrants

I want to move my blackcurrant bush which i planted approx.3months ago.I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be safe to move and also to prune.

Blackcurrants

If the bush is bare it's now safe to move, try and get as much of the root ball as possible (I had to move a balckcurrant in spring - it didn't like it but it soon recovered - they're hardier than they look!).

You can then prune as usual, just make sure that wherever you're moving it that another blackcurrant hasn't been there to cut down on any virus.
