Bilberry Picking??

I was just going to recommend Bilberry reservoir too - lovely walk round there and a whole hillside of Bilberries!

Bilberry Picking on Ilkley Moor

I realise this is a few years too late but for the benefit of new people visiting this posting: Ilkley Moor is a beautiful location for picking Bilberries and for just walking in general! It's just 20 minutes from Leeds by train too! So very accessible!

I know this is an old topic, but I thought I would let you all know that bilberries are ready around Haworth. There is a great spot on the B6144, just pull in at the lay by. It is a little overgrown but if you walk from the lay by through the grass you will come to a stone chair. The bilberry bushes are all around and loaded with fruit.

We just collected at the weekend 3kg in just over two hours and there is loads left.
