Am amazed at how quick and easy these plants are to grow. I had three bare rooted plants from T&M in April. Potted them up and within days they had started to grow. The largest one I planted out on the lottie in May. We had some strong winds in May and one of the new growth snapped off with a little heal on it so I shoved it in a pot of compost and it took root and is starting to put out side shoots. Not bad 4 for the price of three.

Mine too, I managed to split my 3 bare root plants and get 5, they too have grown rapidly, in pots at the moment. But I have n't come across any info on pruning, do they fruit on the young or old wood ? How many years til they possibly fruit ?I gather thay can get very big and ramble all over the place, When should they be pruned ?

I have had a bit of leaf damage on mine, slugs or snails I suspect
