French Beans - too petite?

Hi, Just joined up today and hoping for some good practical advice! I planted climbing french beans for the first time about 6-8 wks ago and the biggest one is only a foot tall with the others lagging behind significantly. Am I doing something wrong?

What variety? Where are they planted?
Mine are already at the tops of their canes ...
