  • Will my raspberries re-grow?

Currently having great returns from a £4.99 raspberry cane, with 20 raspberries in last 5 days (hooray!)

My question is, will raspberries re grow in the same place? as the flowers are all ripening into fruit very quickly and i'm thinking the season will be over in a couple of weeks!

Thanks in advance, new to all this!

Yes, your raspberry will still produce in the same spot, but you will find it sending out new plants too. Cut down the fruiting cane and feed the ground each year. Quite close to us, there is a commercial raspberry producer and his patch looks as if it must have been set up around 1066, but he certainly sells beautiful raspberries.

You should have "suckers" at the bottom of your plants. Those will grow up to carry next year's fruit (hopefully you haven;t been treating them as weeds?!) - and as Tam said, you should cut down this year's canes after they finish fruiting.
