Figs

What do i need to add ( in the feeding of ) to make our fig trees growth better. Manure? As there are no figs evident the jam making kit i received for xmas will go unused for anothe season

Figs need their roots restricted, either in a pot sunk in the ground or make a box with paving slabs and put hardcore in the botton of the hole, use JI 3 and multi purpose compost 50/50 I give mine a handfull of sulphate of potash early spring and a bit of liquid feed ever now and again.
