  • One year old Fruit Trees

Anybody know where the best place is to get them? I have the J Parker catalogue in front of me and my hands are getting twitchy. I'd like to espalier various fruit trees around one of the sides of my allotment, to make a sort of fruit hedge, maybe with bamboo or some other coppice I might grow myself. Also any other recommendations on types of root stock I should look for?

    Thanks,
    Marigold

Google Highfield Nurseries. They are brilliant and I've had some good stuff from them. Not the cheapest I'm sure but excellent quality and well packed.

I got mine from Talaton plants in Devon. Have a look on their website as they have wide range of fruit trees.

Thanks for saving me from the dull selection at J Parkers. These websites are packed with choice!

One year fruit trees and older ones too

I got mine from Ashridge Trees - they also do cordons (I have two on the shed onmy plot) and my dad got some half standards form them 2 years ago. They were all great and there is a really simple cross pollination table on their site also.
