The GYO offer citrus 'trees' arrived (yippee!!) - while I was still researching the soil to use in the containers...
One website says John Innes 3, another says John Innes 2 with about 50% 'sand'.
Being a very finicky Virgoan, I want to get this exactly right.
What's best please?
Also, would someone please remind me what sand to use in composts in general (ie. when fuchsia taking cuttings etc.) ? Should it be builders' sand or not. I believe there is an issue about salt in some sand?
Whatever, I promise not to nick it off Weymouth beach
Thanks
Keith
