Hi D.A., & welcome to the vine. Sorry about your blueberry problem, it's probably not due to the type of water you've used but because the leaves have got scorched a bit in the sun especially if you've watered them when it was sunny. Although it's usually better to water them with rainwater it depends on where you live whether tap water harms them or not. I live in a fairly soft water area & use tap water on mine & they are O.K. but some areas in particular in the South/ South East can have very hard water (if you get limescale in your kettle) & that's not so good. Post a photo of the problem on here if you can.

Just noticed a reply in Amateur Gardening magazine to someone asking about watering with tap water & they say to add Greenacres sulphur to the watering can for lime-haters such as blueberries, camellias etc. You dissolve 1 scoopful in 1 gal. of water. You can buy the sulphur mail order from Greenacres Horticulture Supplies, PO Box 1228, Iver, Bucks., SL0 0EH. Tel.01895 835235 or log. on their website which I've put a link to below but which appears to be undergoing maintenance at the mo. You can probably buy it from some garden centres as well.
