  • feeding my Rasps

Should giving my raspberries a feed of something before I tuck them up for the winter and if so what? I planted them last autumn and they haven't done terribly well this last year. The area I planted them in is quite heavy clay although I did manure it prior to planting them.
    Any advice appreciated!

No need to do anything now.
    January - apply potash
March - appy sulphate of ammonia and mulch.
    Every 3rd year apply superphosphate
Cut autumn fruiting stems to ground level in February
For summer fruiting cut the old fruiting stems down to ground level now but leave ~8 stems for next year.
