  • Yellow rasps

Some of you might just remember last year, when I grew 'All Gold' autumn rasps, for the first time.

I said then that I was dissapointed in the flavour, but would give them another year before deciding if they were worth it.

Well, afraid to say I still think they are nothing like as good as what they are supposed to taste like according to some catalogues.

So, time to give them the heave ho.

    Any one got alternate views.

im afraid i have to agree also, every year i have the problem of mould on my allgold fruit , taste is reasonable without being wow, size of fallgold/allgold fruit always on the large side,so has some postatives
i find golden everest and kiwi gold a little earlier in fruiting and almost same size, with better flavour, golden queen earlier still but berries are small, trying yellow anne raspberry this year only just starting to flower and fruit so well see how that goes,
have to say thou im not over fussed on the red autum bliss, but has a great fan following, everyone to there own thou,

They do make a rather good wine though.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
