nuts or apples

hello my garden is a bit open i don't think apples will fruit because the blossoms could be blown away by wind would hazelnuts or cobnuts be more suited to my site

How about a windbreak around your garden, could help a lot.

My allotment is extremely windy ... I get a good crop of Prince Albert every year. There are also other apple trees on site (variety unknown)
