Grapevine

Is it too late to plant out a grapevine, its currently in a pot but have now finished the trelis and pergola that it is going to grow up, if its not too late, when have I got until to plant it or am I better off doing it next spring ?

If its in a pot, plant away. Just ensure that it doesnt get waterlogged over the winter, so add a bit of grit to the hole.

I've got one standing in a pot too, KTM.
I'm waiting for a decent spell of weather and I'll plant it. I reckon it will be safer in the ground than the pot.

Plant it as soon as possible. If it's left in a pot over the winter, the roots might suffer frost damage.

THanks for the replies, I'll plant it ASAP, didn't want to do it in case it was the wrong thin and as usual, post a question on this great forum and and answer is only a click away
