My raspberries have flowered but there are not many insects. It may have hit 30 Inthe polytunnel but it has been snowing outside. Do they need insect pollination to set fruit?

They do, yes. Although you can hand-pollinate with a brush if need be. -
I pollinate my strawberries inside my greenhouse with a brush, though I have notice some tiny insects on the flowers, so there is some natural pollination going on, even without the help of the bees.Comment

All seems well and I see fruit setting everywhere - even a wee hint of colour today.Comment

I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
