Ants & raspberries

Is there anything that can be done to stop red ants getting my autumn raspberries? Everyone seems to have at least 4 or 5 ants in them, I really don’t fancy eating them

I've never come across that before, no idea what you can do to stop them, maybe just wash them before eating, or even freeze them the use them.

I’ve cut them right down and will dig them up over next few days, giving them away to whoever wants them.

my summer ones are great, not sure why I even bought autumn ones, certainly didn’t need them, must have been a ‘bargain’!

My Autumn ones have been great this year. Started harvesting mid July and were still going strong into Mid September. I was getting nearly a kilo a week from three rows of plants.
I like them because all I have to do is cut them to the ground in December.
