Hello.
Last year I had a go at apple grafting for the first time and I got 9 out of 10 grafts to take
.
This year - 16 grafts and ..... just 6 have leafed out
( Christmas Pippin 4 out of 8), Limelight 1 out of 2), ( Court of Wick 1 out of 1).
2 x Hereford Russet -- nothing! ... 3 x Rajka -- nothing!
I think if they had taken they would show something by now (grafted 3rd April).
So, my question - Was last year just beginners luck or are there other factors involved?
