Out of interest - how have your peach trees cropped this 'summer'?
    particularly interested in UK feedback
I have a dwarf peach tree given to me last year and it has done very well - probably about 30 fruit on it ripening up well.
I'm also wondering what to do with it after fruiting - it's in a small pot so think I'll feed it - does it need more than comfrey tea? And BFB in the new compost if I report.

I know - it looks too much for such a small tree. I overwinter'd it in a cold g'house and hand pollinated it. Then when the weather was so hot it went outside. It had a huge amount of set fruit some of which I removed as you would an apple tree.
I am quite astonished to get even one edible peach. They are not huge but very good flavour. Size just under a tennis ball.

Wow, how impressive. My lonely nectarine on the tree is nowhere near that size yet (though the tree it is only 2 years old so hopefully more next year)

My seed-grown peach tree gave 6 fruit this year, although two were picked prematurely because snails climbed the tree and nibbled them.
                Hopefully more next year.

Wow 30 is awesome!! Good work! I've just had the first couple of home grown peaches here too in the last few days!
I Bought a Rochester peach tree a couple of years back and planted it against the south facing wall of our house. This year it set about a dozen fruit and have just started to ripen- so delicious and juicy! Considering the July we just had I'm very impressed.
I tried a dwarf peach tree several years back in a small pot in a polytunnel, it never looked very happy and after one year I took it out to repot it- the compost was full of vine weevil and the roots were gone! So I'd say maybe just watch out for those guys, but looks like it's going well so far
