I've not done this before, but my rhubarb patch was already showing signs of new life last weekend so I stuck an upturned dustbin over it. Will be checking it out tomorrow.

Wait until the rhubarb buds are showing, give them a good mulch of compost / well rotted manure then cover them up. Hope your plot and tunnel plans are going well

thanks SR, things are going slow on the poly front but hope to get on it going next week , me & oh had this awful cold bug. Will get out my upturned bucket on rhubarb 2mor
