          As your strawberrys are in a raised bed they should be ok growing closer together, think the 45cm spacing is for planting in the ground. If you like strawberry grow some alpine strawberrys from seed, their tiny but their flavour is immense. I'm planting mine between my raspberrys at the lottie as they can tolerate partial shade. Planting some in hanging baskets at home too, they'll never make it to the kitchen though too irresistable will be eaten straight from picking!!!
