Already been to Aldis today - got a Tayberry, blackcurrant, 2 rasps, pink gooseberry, and a red currant. Really pleased. My local store had only 3 choices.

Will the deal still be there tommorrow? My cars been at the garage all week and didn't think my boyfriend would want to drive through the town to get some! He has got up at 5.15am to take me to work every day this week and then pick me up at night too!!

i've just been... mum wanted something with gooseberry... i ended up with one of each of the selection... including about 4 lots of raspberry!

if nothing else they'll all make lovely treats for the chickens!

I bought the Raspberry, Blackcurrant/Taberry pack.

I didn't even realise until I opened them, that there are 3 raspberry, and one of each of the others.

            Nice surprise

I bought a couple of these packs as they were such a bargain. The problem is that as our plot is still a work in progress, we haven't yet dug the area where we want to site the fruit cage. Hoping to get this done early in the Spring.

Should I put these bushes in pots for now as I'm worried it will be too late to plant them out by the time the bed is dug? If so, when should I transplant them into their new home?

It's a shame that we can't call ALDI for availability status.

I'm disabled & have to get a carer to escort me to my nearest store - in another town.

It might be a day out for some, but it's a bit of a trek for me,,,, especially if they have run out.

I also read on these pages that one branch had citrus trees as well,,,, I wish mine did.

                    cheers for now
try it once,,,,, you might like it !

By the way, it's also gardening specials week at Lidls this week. Similar offers on soft fruit and really good plastic sheeting cloches (bought some last year - they're grrrreat)....Ah, but then you may all rush out to buy 'em and when I get there....So, no. Forget that last bit about the cloches, they're rubbish...Really, wouldn't give 'em plot-room!...Last thing you should consider buying.... Look. just leave me four would ya?...
