What a numpty!

So there i was outside lidl's this morning 8am sharp. Doors open, and i wander around but can't see any trees. Ask if they've had any in and after many blank looks, the manager comes out with 4 pallets!! Fanatstic.

I'm after a Beurre Hardy and an Opal. They are all squashed together but i work my way through finding the varieties i want and pulling them out to compare just to make sure that they are ok.

Eventually settle on the 2 that i want so pay for them, get them home and find i've picked up 2 Beurre Hardy's and no Opal!! Absolutely gutted. Will go back tonight but don't hold out much hope!!

Guess I'll be trying to flog it at work tomorrow!!!!!!!

i rushed off to lidl this morning to get my fruit trees from lidl. after much searching and asking around i could only find soft fruit bushes! where are the trees i said!

i phoned my brother in law to ask him if they where supposed to be in this week

what a numpty! i was in aldi not lidl. easy mistake i suppose but got some nice soft fruit instead.

hope they have some left tonight after work!

Ah... but I've just redeemed myself by going back and managing to salvage a good one from what was left. Felt so elated i did the weekly shopping in Sainsburys afterwards!! The endorphins made it seem ok. Might even try it again one day!
