  • strawberry (most flavoursome)

Hi, can anyone tell me which has the best flavour

    Cambridge late pine
    tenira
    marshmello

I know this is subjective but I would love your opinions

I have ordered already Maras du bois and gariguette -- has anyone experience of these.

    Thanks

I have to say maybe my taste buds are dead but I can never tell the difference in them.
Not that I get much chance to eat them as my 4 yr old gets there first!

I always grow Cambridge favourite. A very old fashioned strawberry but then I'm an old fashioned guy. Don't know the 'late pine' but if it is related then I would go for that one. I tried an f1 hybrid last year as an add on but they cropped profusely and tasted of potato.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

On the markets here Gariguette always sells well. They are sold as the best strawberry in the South of France. It might grow better here though because of the sun?????

I'd have to say Marshmello, I grow quite a few varieties and this is a hardy and tasty variety, can grow easily in pots, handing baskets etc. Always survives the damp winters we have here whilst other varieties just give up the ghost.
            Best wishes
