I picked up some raspberry canes yesterday - Autumn Bliss - but I'm worried that it might be a bit cold to get them in the ground? I've had the ground at my lottie covered over with black plastic to hopefully heat the soil, but I'm worried about the frost and if it might kill them off. Any advice would be appreciated. Also I got a whitecurrent bush last year that I popped in the garden and kind of forgot about, and I was thinking about putting that down the lottie too, but when I lookd at it this morning, its got loads of shoots on it - each about 3 or 4 inches long - would I be best waiting till next year when its dormant before moving or should it be ok to do it now?

Raspberries revel in cold. I put some Polka, also autumn fruiting, out in January.
White currants are no problem either. Just take a large rootball to help settling in. But if you can't it won't kill them, just slow down fruiting. Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
