I found two plants last year growing through the cracks in the slabs on my patio.
I let them grow on and there were so many runners I planted some in a small flower border. This year they have run riot - they are taking over the border and have masses of fruit on now. Once they've finished fruiting, I'll thin them out and may plant some up in tubs.

i grew some from seed a few years ago and planted 20 out in their own patch, from june/july we can crop them virtually every second day, they fruit so fast and keep going til the frosts,i pot on small seedlings each spring, and sell them to the local greengrocer to sell on,they pay all my gardening costs for the year, they are small but taste better if you dont feed them,it may give slightly bigger fruit but the taste is not as good,in this area i never need to water, just keep fingers crossed for some sun...
