  • Anybody know what apple trees are in Aldi?

    Pretty much as the title says, seem to remember that Aldi have some fruit trees on sale today. Am thinking of getting another apple tree but it depends on the variety. Anybody been so that I can check them out on t'internet before I go after work tonight?

    Ta.

        Oh, not that good then for what I'm wanting. May go along for a look anyway but don't think I'll be buying.

        And thanks by the way!

          Don't know if it'sof any use to you but they also had a couple of pear & a cherry & peach & nectarine(didn't see what varieties as wasn't buying)
          The lady at our store said they have a couple of extra boxes out the back which they probably won't bring out until later in the day to ensure those that can't get there till later still get a decent choice...hope your store has the same consideration!

                Have seen the ones in Lidl already but was interested in what was elsewhere - just being a bit tight really and trying to get a bargain for the corner by the fence which has been designated a furture apple tree point!

                    From Aldi I brought a Granny Smith apple tree, an Opal Plum, Red Haven Peach and a Doyenne Du Comice Pear. They also had cherry trees and a couple of other apple, one was orange something. They are about 5 foot tall. Might go and get some more if they have any left. Also they were £4.18 each. They also had packs of raspberry, blackberry and gooseberry for about £4. I had 5 plants in mine.

                      I got a Cherry & Peach Tree. I would have preferred Citrus, but my store didn't have them - damn,,,,
                      Peach = Red Haven
                      Cherry = Helderfinger

                      My soft fruits = 3 x rasps + 1 x Tay + 1 x Blackcurrant. Mine only had 3 usefull ones & two twigs (no roots or buds) £2.95 !

                      I wish I could call 'em to see what they have left,,,,,
                      try it once,,,,, you might like it !
