Plum tree question

I bought a new bare root Victoria plum tree over the winter and planted it in the garden - I am worrying about whether it is still alive as i had to heel it in for a while as I couldn't plant it straight away. Should there be signs of it springing back to life again yet?

My Victoria (SJA rootstock) is (only in the last week or so) beginning to swell the buds.
Some of the buds have a greenish hint to them, but none have opened and therefore no leaves or flowers yet. I was chatting with the father-in-law earlier today and we both reckoned that spring is a week or two late this year, due to the cold winter. Last year, spring was a week or two early.

Since I have a couple of dozen fruit trees/bushes, I was planning to start a thread on here and report when each one starts flowering, is in full flower and when it ends flowering

I was worrying about mine too but found a sign of life yesterday! It was also a bare root victoria that I planted over the winter. Only 3 or 4 buds but a start!
