I was reading a magazine at work today and it said there's now blackcurrants that you can eat raw but I forgot what variety it was - does anybody know?

mine dont even get to leave the allotment usually as they get eaten straight off the bush, so I assume that the variety you mean must be sweeter than normal as they are all edible cooked or not._____________
