I used to get quite confused by this too as I didn't know what classed as ericaceous fertilizer. Soon found out that it is the pink/yellow tubs of fertilizer for alaleas, rhodedendrons and camelias. It's in every garden centre.
Someone else suggested chicken manure pellets as they're acidic so I'll be adding a bit of both this weekend as my bushes are in full flower!Serene she stand amid the flowers,
