Strawberries, Olive Tree & Chilli Pepper Plant

hi there guys, im a noob to the "grow your own" scene, i just wanted to post up a few pics of what im trying to grow at the moment, any advice or tips are very welcome as i dont want to do anything wrong lol

here goes:

my mini greenhouse, i keep the strawbs in here overnight with the lid/roof down....on a nice sunny day i put the olive tree in here for some fresh air!!

olive tree: I generally keep this in the kitchen window



olive tree: ive got a few funny yellowish leaves on it, some of them have dropped off….any ideas what im doing wrong??

Chilli pepper plant: I bought this at lunchtime today, when I got home I re-potted it into a bigger pot and gave it a water with some organic seaweed fertilizer…..its now in the mini greenhouse along with the strawbs



this is the fertilizer ive been using on all my plants……is this ok to use on them all??

My Olive looks like that too. Mine lives outdoors next to the house though. Survived Winter ok as the leaves changing the colour is a more recent thing. I'm not particularly concerned as it seems happy enough and new leaves are forming.

thats what i thought about the leaves too, ive got loads of new leaves spouting up on the ends.

should i expect to see any olives on it this year??

No idea! It's all part of the adventure!

On the olive tree, if older leaves are going yellow in the centre leaving a bit of green near the tip and the stalk then it could be lacking magnesium - a weak feed of epsom salts should help.

Otherwise, if all the leaf is going yellow then it could need a feed of nitrogen.

However, if the tree is healthy apart from an odd yellow leaf it could just be one of those things which will pass !!!!

Evergreen trees tend to continuously loose a few leaves, if the yellow ones are old leaves and its growing new growth/buds its probably chucking a few older leaves before it grows new ones, citrus trees do this as well, a few leaves will go yellow , dull and fall off then it will shoot new growth, perfectly normal on evergreen trees
If all older leaves are changing colous i would look for mineral defficency, lots of leaves going yellow could be overwatering etc, but if its just a few it should be just normal growth cycle

its more likely to be me overwatering in that case.......ive only had it a few weeks and it didnt have any yellow leaves when i got it......i think i'll just keep an eye out for now and not water it as much. cheers guys

Hmm. My olive tree decided life was getting a bit quiet and chucked of all of it's leaves on one branch. I'm terrified of it dying now, as my small kumquat tree just kicked the bucket.
