I have a victoria plum on semi dwarf rootstock . It's it's first year . it has grown quite a lot and I would like to just take the ends off the branches to shape it and stop it getting too big . It didn't have any blossom this year although it had a couple of flowers after I planted it last year . My question is , is it ok to do this now and do they fruit on old or new growth .
