  • Growing a melon in a growhouse

I have one of the Wilkinson 5 tier growhouses. I was intending to put one of my home grown melons in it and would like advice please. I have three covers for this house. The original very clear one, another plastic one that has the green mesh running through it - making it more opaque than the clear - and a strong fleece cover.
Which would be best for the melon?
Has anyone grown a melon a their growhouse? If so how was it protected.
All advice appreciated. Many thanks. Sanjo

The clear cover would be best to let more heat in, although I would have thought that those 5 tier growhouses are to small for a melon plant.
I grew a honeydew melon a couple of years ago in the pollytunnel and it grew to about 15 foot long with several melons on it.
