  • Raspberry supports

    Evening all!
I'd like to know grapes experiences of different raspberry supports and which they prefer. I've got to plant my raspberries out ASAP but have to choose where to put them and how. Have got early, mid and autumn ones.
    Any ideas welcome.
    Thank you, Fran

I use the traditional post and wire method. Post each end of the line of raspberries with a short post fixed to each of the uprights at an angle and driven in to the ground to provide support and bracing. (6 ft posts cost £1 each from local supplier.) Wire is stretched between screw eyes in the posts and raspberry canes are tied lightly to the wires.

If anyone has Joan J, do you support those?

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.
