Hi all,
My Mrs told me that someone at work had given her a 'cutting' from a fig tree. On her return home from work, the said cutting turned out to be a six foot branch with roots and few green leaf shoots!
Apparently it just has to be dug into the garden and will then take it's course.
Having no experience of such plants - or indeed cuttings that look as though they have been taken from the land of the giants - can anyone offer some much needed advice on how to look after them. I look forward to the challenge and obviously do not want it to fail on me.
