I have grown three melon plants in my poly tunnel, Even though they germinated a good two months ago they are still quite small, only the seed leaves and two true leaves. What am I doing wrong ? They have loads of light and warmth and water. I haven't planted them in a grow bag yet because I thought they were too small, what do you rec should I plant them up ?

Have you got roots coming out of the bottom of the pots?
Sometimes just one cold night can check their growth.
Saying that, I've had alot of problems with my melons; [stop it Boble], and have resown them again. For some reason they just sit there and don't do anything.

No they don't look pot bound which is why I didn't plant them up in a grow bag. Ive not grown them before so I don't know if they are meant to be slow this time of the year. It has been very windy here the last few days but they are in a poly tunnel so should have been saved from any nasty weather. Oh bother. In fact come to think of it my cucumber which germinated at the same time is the same size as the melons. Do I have tiny melon/dwarf cucumber syndrome ???
