Blueberries

Bought a Blueberry plant a few weeks ago and planted in a big pot in ericaceous compost as we do not have suitable soil on my allotment. It is looking very sad and twiggy. I have cut some of the dead looking twigs off. Any suggestions to help it survive please?

Mine went twiggy and sad when I overwatered it. Could that be the problem?

Could be it is in a pot and has been watered prob every other day. I have, just been looking at a discussion about vine weevil and am a bit worried in case that is the problem. It seems to have a bit of a sort or web on it
